Kapha Massage Oil
$30.00
(8 oz., amber plastic bottle)

Choose your "flavor":

Heating, Drying, Stimulating

Description:
This oil perks up the lethargy, heaviness and stability of Kapha.  It addresses such Kapha traits as depression, overweight, high cholesterol, edema, colds/mucus conditions, greed, diabetes and couch-potato-itis.  Grapeseed oil is the primary base because it's lightweight and won't add to Kapha's already heavy and oily qualities.  Ginger is spicy and hot, cardamom is both herbaceous and floral and grapefruit is uplifting and fresh.  This is a well-balanced, stimulating, beautiful oil!

Ingredients:
Grapeseed/Sunflower Oil Base, Vitamin E, Essential Oil Blend including Fresh Ginger, Cardamom and Pink Grapefruit.

Ginger (Zingiber officinalis) is very popular in ayurvedic herbology. It's warming, increases the metabolism and dries excess mucus conditions. It increases digestive fire and absorption of nutrients. It stimulates kaphas out of lethargy. Fresh ginger is less heating than dried ginger so this oil won't tend to overheat those working with pitta-kapha disorders.

Kindles digestive fire. Helps digest fats and starches. Removes excess mucous from stomach and lungs. The scent is warm, spicy and slightly floral.

Pink Grapefruit (Citrus pardisi) Citrus essential oils create euphoria and a sense of well-being. They are heating stimulants that diminish kapha. Moves lymph and has a diuretic effect that decreases edema.
