The base recipe of these balms is very simple. There are only 3 ingredients: organic coconut oil, palm kernel oil and whichever essential oil is the "flavoring". Most products you buy today are full of all sorts of ingredients you can't pronounce and likely don't even need. Some can be downright harmful. Simple products with simple, high-quality ingredients often perform better and are far less likely cause a reaction or irritation.
Use this smooth and creamy multi-tasking balm for all-over body moisturization, as a face "cream", a deep conditioning treatment for your hair and to tame frizzies and flyaways. It can even be used as a lip balm, nail conditioner and treatment for dry, cracking feet. Because the main ingredient is coconut oil, it's solid at room temperature but liquifies at the touch of your fingertips or when placed by a heat source. Coconut oil is very hydrating yet is considered to be "lightweight" oil that is absorbed quickly.

• Jasmine Balm is scented with highly-prized and costly Jasmine sambac--the prettiest jasmine scent of them all. It's heady and sweet without being overpowering. (It's calming to both vata and pitta, the sweetness is slightly elevating to kapha.)
• Rose Balm is scented with pure Bulgarian Rosa damascena absolute, the finest and most expensive rose in the world. Rose is cooling, calming, hydrating, heart-opening and hormone balancing. It's the Queen of Flowers.
• Lavender Balm is scented with Lavendula officinalis essential oil--herbaceous, calming and balancing to the emotions. Lavender is one of the most familiar and loved of the essential oils. Suitable for everyone, even for babies. Calms cranky skin as well!
(Please note: the balm will liquify at temperatures higher than 75 degrees and re-harden when it cools or is put in the refrigerator. Be careful of possible leakage in the summer or when traveling to a warmer climate.)
